Tabu in Gowtham Menon’s film

Tabu will be acting in a film directed by Gowtham Menon. Gowtham Menon after the film Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya is directing a film which is yet to be titled. New face Veera and Samira Reddy are in the lead roles.

This film which is a thriller has no songs or back ground music. Tabu is acting in an important role in this film. The shooting of this film is on progress. The scenes pertaining to Tabu is yet to be shot.
Tabu was supposed to act in the film Pacchaikili Muthucharam but due to non availability of her call sheet, she could not act in that film.

Suriya - The Hero… Karthi - The Villan

Karthi has said that he is looking for an opportunity to share the screen space with his brother Suriya. However, Karthi is not game to play the reel-life brother. He has said that Suriya will be the hero in the film and he would be the baddie. Karthi also revealed that if a suitable storyline comes up from either Bala or Lingusamy, he and Suriya would be seen together onscreen. Busy with Naan Magaan Alla, Karthi has plans to wrap this film up as soon as possible and move to the remake of the Telugu hit film Vikramarkudu. He says that the delay in Paruthiveeran and Aayirathil Oruvan has taken up valuable years of his career and henceforth he would sign up films that will be completed within a short span of time.

Dayanidhi Alagiri acquires Ajith’s 50th film!

Dayanidhi Alagiri’s and his US based brother-in-law Vivek Rathinavel’s, Cloud Nine Movies banner had acquired the distribution rights of Ajith’s 50th film which is to be directed by Gautham Menon. The banner is on a hit trick with successive films such as Vaaranam Aayiram, Tamil Padam and now Paiyaa.
While speaking in a press meet Cloud Nine’s PR Nikil, says “They both have a mutual understanding with good marketing strategies supported by a good strategic and an analytical team. Their success is their capacity to identify a good project and aggressively market it.”
Its future projects include Karthi’s new movie to be directed by Vetrimaran and also‘Thoonga Nagaram’ with all newcomers.

Vijay’s new film

Vijay is going to act in the remake Malayalam film “Bodyguard”. Sources close to the actor said that the shooting will begin in April. Vijay’s lucky heroine Asin will do the heroine role in the film. In the Malayalam film “Nayanthara” did the heroine role. Raj Kiran will do the role of Thyagarajan.

The music director for the film is Vidyasagar and Ekambaram will do the camera man work. Vadivelu and Baskar will do the comedy part in the film. There is no official confirmation about this. After “Sura”, Vijay’s next film is 3 idiots or Bodyguard ? Let us wait and see.
