Vijay’s groundwork to enter politics begins

llayathalapathy Vijay convened a meeting for some of the important members of his fans’ association from across the state yesterday (June 7th 2009). At the meeting, which took place at his marriage hall, Sangeetha, in Porur, the actor devised plans to celebrate his birthday which falls on June 22nd.
Speaking at the function, Vijay made a statement: “Netrya Thondan Indraya Thalaivan, Indraya Thondan Nalaya Thalaivan.” It is widely speculated that this statement could probably mean that the actor is eyeing the political arena. Vijay also advised his fans to take care of their family commitments. He requested his fans to follow the footsteps of the fans of the late Tamil Nadu chief minister MG Ramachandran. It is worth mentioning here that MGR's fans were well respected in their households and the society owing to the immense popularity of the actor-politician.
Vijay also plans to donate 25 computers to the North and South Chennai region. These computers will be used to run an institute wherein his fans can learn computers.
