Director Priyadarshan who is well known for making remakes of Malayalam films is now planning to remake director Samuthirakani’s recent flick ‘Naadodigal’ in Hindi for US based entertainment company. Priyan has accepted two projects with Woodpecker Pictures, a subsidiary of U.S.-based entertainment fund Woodpecker Holding.
He is going to make the two projects under his Four Frames banner with a huge budget of nearly 80 crores.The movie which has gained huge profits in Tamil version has enhanced its figures when it was remade in South Indian languages.
At present, it had become a million dollar worth movie in bollywood. He is going to start its production in Hindi version from April. Priyadarshan who has made more than 60 films in Hindi has won the National Award for his film ‘Kaanchivaram’ in Tamil.
