Shankar’s Imagination Is ‘Avatar’ Reality

Just remember how Shankar had innovatively placed graphical illusions in his yesteryear directorial ‘Jeans’. The way choreographer Raju Sundaram sticks wire to his body and dupes it as Aishwarya Rai’s image for the song ‘Kannodu Kanbadhellam’.

Of course, it has now become a reality with James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’. It’s been nearly more than 50days and the film is striking gold at global box office. Now, we have something more interesting about the process of creating Navi figures in this film.

The complete concept was based on ADVANCED MOTION MEASUREMENT – that analyzes the motion of human and transmits towards the 3D figures created with software. AMM functions precisely with Blue Tooth instrument that stimulates movement based on biomechanics research.
