What is in Vijay's "Vetaikkaaran"?
Directed by Babu Sivan, "Vettaikkaaran", featuring Vijay and Anushka, is progressing at a fast pace. After a swift schedule in Rajamundhry, the crew has got back to Chennai to shoot some significant portions featuring Vijay. Apparently Anushka has also left for Tollywood to wrap up her part in Mahesh Babu's Varudhu.
Though Vijay's earlier film Villu directed by Prabhu Deva had a good dose of commercial ingredients such as Vadivelu-Vijay-Nayantara comedy, good dance sequences, action and sentiment, the film did not satisfy audiences' expectations and hence received a lukewarm response at the box office. Now there are talks about Ilayathalapathy's entry into politics; his close rapport with his fan clubs and his band of social services go on to substantiate his position and he is touted to be the fave hero of the classes and the masses.
His films serve as the best medium to establish and maintain a connection with his fans and audiences all around the globe. His punch dialogues indicate his stand and offer gyan regarding his further plans in the movie and political spheres. So accounting for his charisma, will Vijay graduate from his commercial image to an all-round performer in Vettaikkaaran? Or will he maintain his style and just continue to satisfy audiences?
