Thalaivan Irukkiran was the annnounced title of Kamal's next project, Tamil remake of A Wednesday (Hindi). The film also stars Mohanlal and Ganesh Venkatraman.
Now the name has been changed to "Unnai Pol Oruvan". The new name sounds more apt than Thalaivan Irukkiran because Kamal, who essays the role played by Naseeruddin Shah in A Wednesday is a common man at the end of the film!
It's just that people in future shouldn't confuse this name with Evano Oruvan (Madhavan film), which sounds phonetically similar! A trailer of Unnai Pol Oruvan is currently being aired in all Tamil TV channels.
