The Tamil association in canada has threatened that the immigrant Tamils will boycott Vijay’s movies if he decides to join the congress party. The immigrant Tamils strongly believe that it is the Congress that helped the Srilankan government in the recent war that displaced millions of Tamils in the island nation and rendered many more homeless by secretly supplying arms and ammunitions to the Srilankan Army to fight against the Tamil Tigers.
It will be interesting to wait and watch this space to see what is going to be Illaya Thalapathy’s reaction as he has quite a strong fan base in Canada.
