Arya said Comedy scenes without laughing is tough

The young and handsome hero Arya who is well known for playing serious characters till now in all his earlier films like ‘Arindhum Ariyamalum’, ‘Pattiyal’, ‘Naan Kadavul’ and ‘Madrasapattinam’, says that he finds some what difficult to act in a full length comedy entertainer ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ which is being directed by Rajesh of ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ fame.It is known before that Arya himself has bought the release rights of the film from its producer K S Srinivasan. Arya says “Attempting humor in front of the camera is a gift and not everyone could do it with ease. It’s doubly so for a person like me.”
He further adds “When Rajesh enacts a scene, it would sound simple. But the real challenge is performing it before the camera with all seriousness. For a fun loving guy like me, acting in comedy scenes without laughing is a lot of hard work.”
On speaking about his latest release ‘Madarasapattinam’ “I play Ilamparithi, a young dhobi who falls in love with the daughter of Governor of the Madras province. A twist comes to their affair when India gets independence on 15 August 1947. The film has been beautifully made by Vijay and I am eagerly waiting for its result.”
